Point In Time Count

U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requires Continuum of Cares (CoC) to conduct a count of all sheltered and unsheltered people experiencing homelessness every other year.

The Sutter Yuba Homeless Consortium, with the help of partner agencies, surveys those experiencing homelessness throughout Sutter and Yuba Counties and submits the data collected to HUD. The Point in Time (PIT) count in 2025 was conducted on January 26, 2025, and represents a snapshot of homelessness in our area on one night. All data in this report is self-disclosed by those surveyed. Not all questions within the survey were answered.
