The grant application period is open for Community Service Block Grants through the Sutter County Community Action Agency (SCCAA) and Yuba County Community Services Commission (YCCSC) for 2024. The Sutter Yuba Homeless Consortium intends to submit a collaborative application for Homeless services to both agencies. We have been successful with this for the past few years and will continue this year. 

It is important to note that both SCCAA and YCCSC indicate that all proposed programs and services must promote self-sufficiency and/or improve the conditions of County low-income residents living at or below 125% of the federal poverty guidelines. We may apply for up to $240,000 from each county. CSBG grants are not designed to be a long-term sustainable program. Current and previous programs are eligible but should expect to receive less funds than in previous years if approved.
